Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This notice is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.100 et seq.) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 ("CCPA/CPRA"), and is referenced from every page of yellowsunsystems.com via the footer link required by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.135(a)(1).
1. We do not sell or share personal information
Yellow Sun Systems does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and we have no current plans to do so.
Because we do not engage in the regulated activity, there is no opt-out for you to exercise. This page exists to make that statement available at a stable URL as the CCPA/CPRA contemplates for businesses that do not sell or share.
2. What this means for each Yellow Sun Systems service
- Monaco. Monaco runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, receive, or store any personal information from Monaco users. There is nothing to sell or share. See Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
- DreamZone. We collect the account information you provide via Google Sign-In (account ID, email, display name, profile picture URL) and the dream entries you create. We do not sell or share this information. When you explicitly request AI analysis of a dream, the dream text is forwarded to Anthropic for processing, with no identifying user information attached; this is a service-provider relationship under CCPA/CPRA § 1798.140, not a sale or sharing.
- The Writing Sessions. We collect the account information you provide at sign-in and the writing-session content you create. We do not sell or share this information.
3. Your other CCPA/CPRA rights
California residents also have the right to:
- Know what personal information we have collected about you (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.110).
- Delete personal information we have collected from you (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.105). For Monaco this right is exercised on your device using the in-app "Erase all data on this device" button; for DreamZone and The Writing Sessions, contact us using the email below.
- Correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.106).
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information — we do not collect sensitive personal information as defined by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.140(ae), so there is nothing to limit.
- Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price, or provide a different quality of service if you exercise any of your CCPA/CPRA rights (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.125).
4. How to exercise these rights
Send a request to privacy@yellowsunsystems.com with the subject line "CCPA Request" and a description of the right you are exercising. We will respond within 45 days as required by Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.130(a)(2). You may designate an authorized agent to act on your behalf; we may require reasonable verification of the agent's authority.
5. Verification
To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing a request. For DreamZone and The Writing Sessions, verification will typically consist of sending an email to the address associated with your account containing a confirmation link. For Monaco, no verification is possible because we have no account or other personal information to match a requester against; the in-app erase button is the verification-free equivalent.
